Materials

What stones and materials are used?
  • Depending on the collection, we make our pieces in sterling silver or 14/18K gold.
  • We only use natural gemstones, also varies with the collections, this can be Topaz, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, ... .
Can the jewellery get tarnished? 
  • 925 sterling silver can get tarnished. Tarnishing is the changing of colour of the jewellery, and is mainly caused by oxidation. Oxidation happens when metal is exposed to air, chlorine (in pools), sulfur, harsh chemicals, etc. Silver and other elements in the alloy react with those substances to form complexes, seen as the tarnished spots on your jewellery.  
How to prevent and remove tarnishing spots?
  • Obviously, wearing your jewelry on a daily basis will subject the pieces to tarnishing due to the constant exposure to air, body oil and sweat (which contain substances that can react with the silver alloy). 
  • But not to worry too much, tarnishing does not happen that fast so you just need to clean the jewellery a bit more frequently as a preventative method (once every two weeks is pretty ideal).
  • One effective method to remove tarnishes is to use aluminium foil paper and baking soda. Directions: line a bowl using the foil paper with the shiny face up, add a fairly generous amount of baking soda, place your jewellery and pour boiling hot water into the bowl. Leave for a few minutes and stir the jewellery around. Remove the jewellery and wash with normal water to remove all baking soda.

Shipping and Exchange/Return

Where do you ship to? 
How long does shipping take? And how much does shipping cost?
  • For our in-stock pieces, fulfillment will typically take 1-2 days from the date of placing your order. However, for orders placed on our launch week (October 11th to 19th), fulfillment will take 5-7 working days.
  • Then depending on the delivery destination, shipping cost varies and it will usually take 1-2 working days for the package to be delivered (more information at checkout)
  • For pre-order pieces, it will take 4-6 weeks to be made and get shipped out. We will update you along the way!
In what cases will exchange/return be eligible?
  • Đrème accepts either return or exchange if the jewellery pieces arrived damaged due to shipping or with any faults (broken lock, missing gems, etc). If any of these unfortunate cases happen, the shipping fee will be on us.
  • We cannot accept exchange/return of earrings due to hygiene reasons.
  • We also cannot facilitate a return if the cause is sizing issues. We may be able to help you with an exchange so please reach out if you wish for this!
  • The exchange/return time window is typically 7 days since the delivery date.
How do I exchange or return a product?
